Archdiocesan Shrine Santuario de San Pedro Bautista (Quezon City)

About the Church: In 1590 the Church was established  by San Pedro Bautista. In 1590 the Chapel was built using thatch and bamboo by Fray Pedro Bautista. The Chapel rebuilt using wood then stone in 1599.
In 1639 the Church was burned during the Chinese uprising. In 1645 the Church was completely destroyed by an Earthquake. A Church using stone was built in 1699. In 1895, Friars abandoned the Church and Filipino revolutionary forces occupied the church
 
In 1914 the Church was blessed and a town fiesta was held to honor San Pedro Bautista. In November 11, 1932 the Church was declared a parish named in honor of the founder and patron saint,  San Pedro Bautista. In 1989 The three-centuries old baroque altar was transferred to the main sanctury.
