Saint James the Great Parish Church (Betis, Guagua, Pampanga)

1572 – first built with light materials by Augustinian Father Fernando Pinto, 1660-1770 – rebuilt with stronger materials. 1868-1894 – Church and Convent repaired by Father Manuel Camanes. The Ceiling and walls of the Church were painted by Simon Flores, Macario Ligon and Jose Lion

1740 – Church completed by Father Juan de Meseguer
1753 – Minor Restorations done by Father Jose de Vivar
1813 – Church destroyed by Fire
1819 – reconstruction of the present church started by Father Melchor Fernandez
October 14,1826 – Church was consecrated
June 3,1863 – the Church was severely damaged by an Earthquake
1859-1872 – Church resorted by Father Ezekiel Moreno
July 19,1880 – Convent was damaged by an Earthquake
1883 – Convent was restored by Father Juan Tombo 
1884 – Convent completed by Father Felipe Garcia 
1902-1936 – Church was rebuilt by Monsignor Pedro Abad
1963 – Restorations done on the church by Engineer Alfredo Aldaba

1812 – Church was repaired by Father Gaspar Folgar
June 3,1863 – Church was damaged by an Earthquake
October 1,1869 – the Bell Tower was tilted by an Earthquake
1877 – Bell Tower was rebuilt by Father Marcos Hernandez
July 19,1880 – Church was damaged again by an Earthquake
1884 – Church was rebuilt by Father Francisco Valdez using the Neo-Byzantine Style
1885 – Church finished by Father Patricio Martin
1889 – Bell Tower completely restored by Father Domingo de la Prieta
